In the morning, Her Excellency the Honourable Margaret Beazley AO QC, Governor of New South Wales, accompanied by Mr Dennis Wilson, presented awards at the 2019 Redfern IPROWD Graduation Ceremony, at TAFE Ultimo. TAFE NSW delivers the IPROWD program, which is part of a state-wide training strategy to increase the number of Indigenous Police Officers in the NSW Police Force.

In the afternoon the Governor and Mr Wilson hosted a visit by groups of student leaders from State, Catholic and Independent schools across NSW participating in the Secondary School Leadership Program.

In the evening, the Governor and Mr Wilson attended a Gala Fundraiser for Weave Youth and Community Services, at Doltone House, Pyrmont.
