In the morning, Her Excellency the Honourable Margaret Beazley AO QC, Governor of New South Wales, and Mr Dennis Wilson visited the Exodus Foundation, in Ashfield. Afterwards they visited Russ the Story Bus, at Bankstown Public School.

In the afternoon, the Governor and Mr Wilson visited a women’s community shelter, in the Parramatta area. Afterwards, Her Excellency, as Patron of the Asbestos Diseases Foundation of Australia, and Mr Wilson, visited the Asbestos Diseases Research Institute, in Concord West.
