In the morning, Her Excellency the Honourable Margaret Beazley AC KC, Governor of New South Wales, and Mr Dennis Wilson visited the Kirkconnell Correctional Centre, at Kirkconnell.

Later in the morning, the Governor and Mr Wilson toured the Thales Australia, Lithgow Small Arms Factory, in Lithgow.

In the afternoon, the Vice-Regal couple visited Greystanes Disability Services, at Leura. Afterwards, they toured the Blue Mountains Cultural Centre, at Katoomba.
