In the morning, Her Excellency the Honourable Margaret Beazley AO QC, Governor of New South Wales, and Mr Dennis Wilson met with Government House Volunteers.

In the afternoon, the Governor officially launched Australia’s first MRI-guided focussed Ultrasound, funded through the work of the St Vincent’s Curran Foundation, at St Vincent’s Hospital, Darlinghurst.

In the evening, Her Excellency and Mr Wilson attended the Opening Night of ‘Bangara: 30 years of sixty five thousand’, at the Sydney Opera House.
