In the day, Her Excellency the Honourable Margaret Beazley AC QC, Governor of New South Wales, and Mr Dennis Wilson, visited the fire affected communities of Adelong and Batlow.

In the morning, the Governor and Mr Wilson toured the main street of Adelong with Councillor James Hayes OAM, Mayor of Snowy Valleys Council, and engaged with local business owners and community members.

Later in the morning, Her Excellency and Mr Wilson attended a lunch with business owners, community representatives and local emergency services personnel, at the Batlow Hotel.

In the afternoon, the Governor and Mr Wilson toured a fire affected farm in Batlow.
