In the morning, Her Excellency the Honourable Margaret Beazley AC KC, Governor of New South Wales, and Mr Dennis Wilson toured the Evans Head Heritage Aviation Museum and met with volunteers. Afterwards, they visited the Mid Richmond Neighbourhood Centre, in Woodburn.

In the afternoon, as joint Patrons of Surf Life Saving NSW, the Governor and Mr Wilson visited the Evans Head Casino Surf Life Saving Club. Afterwards they toured the New Italy Museum, in New Italy, before visiting the Evans Head Commonwealth War Cemetery, followed by an Afternoon Tea at Club Evans RSL.
