In the morning, Her Excellency the Honourable Margaret Beazley AO QC, Governor of New South Wales, as Patron, accompanied by Mr Dennis Wilson, Joint Patron, officially opened aviation and medical training areas at the Royal Flying Doctor Service South Eastern Section facility in Dubbo, following which they joined Royal Flying Doctor Service staff for lunch. In the afternoon, the Governor and Mr Wilson met with Councillor Lillian Brady OAM, Mayor, Cobar Shire Council, in Cobar. Afterwards, Her Excellency and Mr Wilson attended a meeting with members of the Cobar Business Association.
Later, the Governor and Mr Wilson visited Cobar Health Service to view the Virtual Outpatient Musculoskeletal Physiotherapy Service.
In the evening, the Governor and Mr Wilson attended dinner with Councillor Lilliane Brady OAM, Mayor, Cobar Shire Council and other Councillors, and toured the Great Cobar Heritage Museum.
