In the morning, Her Excellency the Honourable Margaret Beazley AC KC, Governor of New South Wales, and Mr Dennis Wilson attended the Swearing-in Ceremony of Mr James Hmelnitsky SC as Judge of the Supreme Court of New South Wales, at the Banco Court, Sydney.

In the evening, the Governor and Mr Wilson hosted a Dinner in Honour of the appointment of The Honourable Chief Justice Stephen Gageler AC and The Honourable Justice Robert Beech-Jones joining the other NSW appointments to the High Court.
