In the morning, Her Excellency the Honourable Margaret Beazley AC KC, Governor of New South Wales, and Mr Dennis Wilson participated in a round table discussion with members of the Hilltops Shire Council in Young, discussing economic dynamics in the region, flood impacts, and major projects.

Following this, the Governor and Mr Wilson talked with committee members, volunteers, and clients of the Young Food Hall and received an overview of the organisation’s operations.

In the afternoon, Her Excellency and Mr Wilson visited the Lambing Flat Chinese Tribute Garden, before speaking with staff and students at Young High School and inspecting the school’s Aboriginal Garden, Care Connect, Library and new constructions.

Later, the Governor and Mr Wilson toured the Ballinaclash Orchard, Cellar Door, and Farm Gate Shop in Young.
