In the morning, Her Excellency the Honourable Margaret Beazley AC KC, Administrator of the Government of the Commonwealth of Australia, accompanied by Mr Dennis Wilson, as official guests, attended a Morning Tea at the Rear Admiral Sir David Martin Mess, HMAS Penguin, Mosman.

Subsequently, Her Excellency and Mr Wilson attended a Morning Tea to thank Government House Volunteers at Government House.

In the late afternoon, as a consequence of His Excellency General the Honourable David Hurley AC DSC (Retd), Governor-General of the Commonwealth of Australia returning to the country, Her Excellency reassumed the Administration of the Government of New South Wales.
