In the morning, Her Excellency the Honourable Margaret Beazley AC KC, Governor of New South Wales, accompanied by Mr Dennis Wilson, travelled to Albury.

In the afternoon, in a private investiture, Her Excellency, accompanied by Mr Wilson, presented Mr Stuart Dye with the Order of Australia Medal, at Albury-Wodonga Hospital.

Afterwards, the Governor, accompanied by Mr Wilson, reviewed cadet competitions and later presented the Sam McPaul Memorial Trophy to cadets at the Rural Fire Service Cadet Championships, at Holbrook Sports Centre.
