In the morning, Her Excellency the Honourable Margaret Beazley AC KC, Governor of New South Wales, accompanied by Mr Dennis Wilson, attended the Greek Orthodox Easter Service - Vespers of Love, at the Cathedral of the Annunciation of Our Lady, Redfern. During the ceremony, Archbishop Makarios presented the Governor with the Medal (and Star) of the Christ-Loving, in recognition of her commitment to the people of New South Wales.

In the afternoon, the Governor and Mr Wilson hosted Jazz@theHouse, featuring the jazz ensemble of the Royal Australian Air Force Band.
