In the morning, Her Excellency the Honourable Margaret Beazley AC KC, Governor of New South Wales, attended a commemorative service to mark the 22^nd anniversary of the unveiling of the Australian Chinese Ex-Services Monument, in Chinatown, Haymarket.

In the afternoon, the Governor, as Patron, attended A Sunday Soiree – Unlocking Opportunities for Young People hosted by Muscular Dystrophy NSW, at Dunluce House, Glebe.
