In the morning, in the presence of Their Majesties King Charles III and Queen Camilla, Her Excellency the Honourable Margaret Beazley AC KC, Governor of New South Wales, and Mr Dennis Wilson, attended a service at St Thomas’ Anglican Church, North Sydney.
Later in the morning, in the presence of His Majesty the King of Australia, the Governor and Mr Wilson attended a luncheon to celebrate the launch of the “Legacy & Evolution – 200 Years of the NSW Legislative Council” exhibition at NSW Parliament House.
In the afternoon, Her Excellency was received by His Majesty The King, for a private audience at Admiralty House, Kirribilli.
In the evening, the Governor and Mr Wilson attended a reception for Australian Vice-Regal representatives, hosted by Her Excellency the Honourable Ms Sam Mostyn AC, at the Hyatt Hotel Canberra.
In the afternoon, as a consequence of the Governor’s departure from the State, His Excellency the Honourable Andrew Bell, Lieutenant-Governor of New South Wales, assumed administration of the Government of the State of New South Wales.
