In the afternoon, Her Excellency the Honourable Margaret Beazley AC KC, Governor of New South Wales hosted a NAIDOC Week Reception, at Government House.

In the evening, as an official guest, the Governor attended the opening night performance of the Sydney Theatre Company’s Dracula, at the Roslyn Packer Theatre, Walsh Bay.
