On Saturday morning, Her Excellency the Honourable Margaret Beazley AC QC, Governor of New South Wales, and Mr Dennis Wilson attended a private tour of the PacificaRomania Exhibition, featuring Aboriginal and Tribal Oceanic Art from the Pacific Islands Countries, hosted by Her Excellency Mrs Nineta Bărbulescu, Ambassador of Romania, and Mr Dan Bărbulescu at the Embassy of Romania in the ACT.

Afterwards, the Governor and Mr Wilson joined their tour companions, including Her Excellency Mrs Victoria Marguerite Treadell CMG MVO, High Commissioner for the United Kingdom, Her Excellency Ms Busadee Santipitaks, Ambassador of Thailand, and Mr Mohd Fareed Zakaria, Acting High Commissioner for Malaysia, for a luncheon at the Water’s Edge Restaurant.

In the morning, as a consequence of the Governor’s departure from the State, His Excellency the Honourable TF Bathurst AC, Lieutenant-Governor of New South Wales, assumed administration of the Government of New South Wales. In the evening, the Governor returned to Sydney and reassumed administration of the Government of the State.
