In the morning, Her Excellency the Honourable Margaret Beazley AC QC, Governor of New South Wales, and Mr Dennis Wilson attended the Memorial Service for Bomber-134,at the Peak View Memorial Site, Peak View. The service acknowledged Pilot-in-Command Captain Ian McBeth, Co-pilot Paul Hudson and Flight Engineer Rick DeMorgan Jr. whose lives were lost whilst protecting the Peak View community from the Good Good Fire, in January 2020.

Following the service, the Governor and Mr Wilson attended a reception at the Peak View Rural Fire Brigade Station.
