In the morning, Her Excellency the Honourable Margaret Beazley AC KC, Governor of New South Wales and Mr Dennis Wilson attended a Pre-ANZAC Day Commemorative Service at Woolgoolga and District Retirement Village, where they placed the first wreath.

In the afternoon, the Governor, as Patron of the Royal Agricultural Society of NSW, accompanied by Mr Wilson, Patron of the RAS Foundation, officially opened the 150th Grafton Show, presenting Life Membership awards and the Royal Agricultural Society of NSW Medal.
