In the morning, Her Excellency the Honourable Margaret Beazley AC KC, Governor of New South Wales, reassumed administration of the Government of New South Wales.

In the afternoon, the Governor and Mr Dennis Wilson hosted a Garden Party to mark the Bicentenary of the Supreme Court of New South Wales, at Government House, Sydney.
