In the morning, Her Excellency the Honourable Margaret Beazley AC KC, Governor of New South Wales, and Mr Dennis Wilson returned to Sydney following their regional visit to Lord Howe Island.

During the day, Her Excellency and Mr Wilson hosted Her Royal Highness The Princess Royal and Vice Admiral Sir Timothy Laurence, at Government House.
