In the morning, Her Excellency the Honourable Margaret Beazley AC KC, Governor of New South Wales and Administrator of the Government of the Commonwealth of Australia, and Mr Dennis Wilson, as joint-Patrons of the Embroiderers’ Guild NSW, toured The Elinor and Fred Wrobel Collection – Textiles and Embellished Treasures, at gallery 76, Concord West. In the afternoon, the Governor, accompanied by Mr Wilson, presented the Pierre Roussel Memorial Lecture, at the La Perouse Museum, La Perouse.

In the evening, at the time of the Governor-General’s return to Australia, Her Excellency reassumed administration of the Government of New South Wales.
