In the morning, Her Excellency the Honourable Margaret Beazley AC KC, Governor of New South Wales, and Mr Dennis Wilson met members of the Hay Youth Taskforce and Hay Aboriginal Medical Service Centre staff, at the Aboriginal Medical Service Centre Community Gathering Place, in Hay.

Following this, the Governor and Mr Wilson visited Shear Outback in Hay, where they observed a shearing demonstration, and toured the museum displays.

Afterwards, and concluding their regional visit to the Wentworth, Balranald, and Hay Shires, the Vice Regal couple attended the Hay District Cricket Association Presentation Day, where Her Excellency, as Patron of Cricket NSW, presented Hay District Club Awards, including the Governor’s Cup, at Hay Number One Oval, Hay.
