On Saturday, Her Excellency the Honourable Margaret Beazley AC QC, Governor of New South Wales, and Mr Dennis Wilson hosted events in honour of Her Majesty’s 96^th birthday in the year of Her Platinum Jubilee, at Government House.

The morning featured a ceremonial parade consisting of a tri-service Guard provided by Cadets, a Royal Australian Air Force flypast, and, to represent Her Majesty’s symbolic presence, the unfurling of The Queen’s Personal Flag for Australia on the Parade Ground.

Following this, and in celebration of Her Majesty’s Birthday and Platinum Jubilee, the Governor and Mr Wilson hosted a garden reception on the Eastern Terrace.
