On Saturday, Her Excellency the Honourable Margaret Beazley AC KC, Governor of New South Wales, and Mr Dennis Wilson hosted events in honour of the King’s Birthday, at Government House.

The morning featured a ceremonial parade consisting of a tri-service Guard provided by Cadets, a Royal Australian Air Force flypast, and, to represent His Majesty’s symbolic presence, the unfurling of The Royal Standard on the Parade Ground.

Following this, and in celebration of His Majesty’s Birthday, the Governor and Mr Wilson hosted a garden reception on the Eastern Terrace.

In the evening, Her Excellency and Mr Wilson attended a Sydney Theatre Company performance of Do Not Go Gentle at the Roslyn Packer Theatre, Walsh Bay.
