In the morning, Her Excellency the Honourable Margaret Beazley AC QC, Governor of New South Wales, attended a NAIDOC Week event with Bidjigal Elders onboard the Abyss Project vessel, Bidjigal Dreaming.

In the afternoon, the Governor hosted an afternoon tea for the 2021 NSW Australian of the Year nominees, at Government House.
