In the morning, Her Excellency the Honourable Margaret Beazley AC KC, Governor of New South Wales, and Mr Dennis Wilson received His Excellency Mr Seitaro Hattori, Governor of the Fukuoka Prefecture, Japan, accompanied by Mr Kohara Katsuji, Chairman, Fukuoka Prefectural Assembly, Mr Matsuo Tosho, Chairperson of Liberal Democratic Party Kengidan, Fukuoka Prefectural Assembly, and Mr Higuchi Akira, Former Chairperson of Fukuoka Prefectural Assembly,Member of Liberal Democratic Party Kengidan, Fukuoka Prefectural Assembly.

Later in the morning, the Governor received Reverend Doctor Arthur Bridge AM, at Government House.

In the evening, the Governor and Mr Wilson hosted a Reception for the NSW Electoral Commission, at Government House.

Afterwards, the Vice-Regal couple attended the Australia Vs Denmark game of the Women’s FIFA World Cup, at Stadium Australia, Sydney Olympic Park, Homebush.
