In the morning, Her Excellency the Honourable Margaret Beazley AC KC, Governor of New South Wales, presided over the Swearing-In Ceremony of the Honourable Andrew Bell, Chief Justice of the Supreme Court of New South Wales, as Lieutenant-Governor of New South Wales.

In the afternoon, the Governor received Miss Azaria Dennis, recipient of the Nanga Mai Award for Outstanding Student, at Government House. Accompanying Miss Dennis were her Grandmother Ms Robyn Morgan, Ms Liz O’Reilly, Senior Project Officer, and Ms Doreen Peters, Senior Leader Community Engagement, Walgett Community College High School.

In the evening, Her Excellency and Mr Dennis Wilson hosted the 2022 Closing Ceremony of the AmCham Academy, at Government House.
