In the morning, Her Excellency the Honourable Margaret Beazley AC KC, Governor of New South Wales, and Mr Dennis Wilson as joint Patrons, visited the Newcastle office of Guide Dogs NSW/ACT. For further information, visit: guidedogs.com.au
Later in the morning, the Governor and Mr Wilson toured the Purai Global Indigenous History Centre, at the University of Newcastle, and then visited the Port of Newcastle and observed the Port of Newcastle Multipurpose Terminal.
In the afternoon, Her Excellency and Mr Wilson visited the Adamstown Pudding Kitchen, and the Governor officially launched the Adamstown Pudding Kitchen’s 2024 Christmas Pudding Season, at the Adamstown Uniting Church. Adamstown Pudding Kitchen is a not-for-profit artisan manufacturer run by the Adamstown Uniting Church.
In the evening, the Governor, as Patron of the Art Gallery of NSW Foundation, accompanied by Mr Wilson, attended a Celebration for Dr Michael Brand, at the Art Gallery of New South Wales. For further information, visit: artgallery.nsw.gov.au
