In the morning, Her Excellency the Honourable Margaret Beazley AC QC, Governor of New South Wales, accompanied by Mr Dennis Wilson, attended the Farewell Ceremony for the Honourable TF Bathurst AC, Chief Justice of New South Wales, at Banco Court, Law Courts Building.

Also in the morning, Her Excellency was represented by Group Captain David Glasson MVO, Aide-de-Camp to the Governor, at the State Funeral for the Late Mr John Raper MBE at the Sydney Cricket Ground.
