In the morning, as guests of the Honourable Anthony Albanese MP, Prime Minister of Australia, and Ms Jodie Haydon, Her Excellency the Honourable Margaret Beazley AC KC, Governor of New South Wales, and Mr Dennis Wilson, attended a Parliamentary Reception in the presence of His Majesty King Charles III and Her Majesty Queen Camilla, at The Great Hall, Parliament House Canberra.

In the evening, the Governor returned to Sydney and reassumed administration of the Government of New South Wales.
