In the evening, the Governor and Mr Wilson attended a commemorative event to mark 40 years since the opening of St Vincent Hospital’s Ward 17 South, and 40 years of delivering HIV care to the community, at the Cell Block Theatre, Darlinghurst.

Later, Her Excellency and Mr Wilson hosted a Dinner in honour of General the Honourable David Hurley AC CVO DSC (Ret'd), former Governor-General of the Commonwealth of Australia and Mrs Linda Hurley, at Government House.
