In the morning, Her Excellency the Honourable Margaret Beazley AC KC, Governor of New South Wales, accompanied by Mr Dennis Wilson, attended the 60^th Anniversary Commemoration of the Freedom Ride to Walgett, at the Freedom Ride Memorial Park, in Walgett.

In the evening, the Governor, accompanied by Mr Wilson, welcomed guests at a Reception for the 9^th Australia-Canada Economic Leadership Forum, at Government House.
