In the afternoon, Her Excellency the Honourable Margaret Beazley AC KC, Governor of New South Wales, received Rear Admiral Jonathan Earley CSC, Commander of the Fleet, at Government House.

Following this, the Governor and Mr Dennis Wilson hosted a Reception for Members of the Californian State Legislature Delegation, at Government House.

In the evening, Her Excellency and Mr Wilson attended a Reception to Celebrate the 50^th Anniversary of Diplomatic Relations between the People’s Republic of China and the Commonwealth of Australia, at the Sofitel Hotel, Sydney.
