In the morning, Her Excellency the Honourable Margaret Beazley AC QC, Governor of New South Wales, and Mr Dennis Wilson attended the Swearing in Ceremony for Dr Nicholas Chen SC as a Judge of the Supreme Court of New South Wales, at the Law Courts Building, Sydney.

Later in the morning, the Governor hosted The Y NSW 2022 Youth Parliament Address in Reply and reception, at Government House.

In the afternoon, Her Excellency visited the Consulate-General of Japan and signed a book of condolence for the late former Prime Minister of Japan, Shinzo Abe. The Governor presented the Consul-General of Japan, Mr Kiya Masahiko, with a letter of condolence written to His Majesty the Emperor Naruhito.
