In the morning, Her Excellency the Honourable Margaret Beazley AO QC, Governor of New South Wales, accompanied by Mr Dennis Wilson, unveiled a commemorative plaque to mark the 100th anniversary of the opening of the rail line to Macksville, at Macksville Railway Station.

Afterwards, the Governor and Mr Wilson met with members of the Macksville and District Chamber of Commerce and Industry.
