In the morning, Her Excellency the Honourable Margaret Beazley AC QC, Governor of New South Wales, and Mr Dennis Wilson viewed the Whale Sculptures, with the artists Ms Julie Squires and Ms Theresa Ardler, Director of Gweagal Cultural Connections, in Kamay Botany Bay National Park.

In the afternoon, the Governor presided at a meeting of the Executive Council, at Government House.

In the evening, the Governor and Mr Wilson attended the Sydney Theatre Company production of The Tenant of Wildfell Hall, at the Roslyn Packer Theatre, Walsh Bay.
