In the morning, Her Excellency the Honourable Margaret Beazley AC QC, Governor of New South Wales, was invested as a Companion of the Order of Australia by His Excellency General the Honourable David Hurley AC DSC (Retd), Governor-General of the Commonwealth of Australia, at Admiralty House, Kirribilli.
