In the morning, Her Excellency the Honourable Margaret Beazley AC KC, Governor of New South Wales, as Patron, and Mr Dennis Wilson viewed the Art Gallery of New South Wales Foundation commissions, at the Art Gallery of New South Wales, Sydney.

Following this, the Governor, as Patron, and Mr Wilson, laid the first wreath at the 102^nd Royal Australian Air Force Birthday Commemoration, at the Cenotaph, Martin Place, Sydney. 

In the afternoon, Her Excellency and Mr Wilson attended the Ceremonial Farewell Sitting for the Honourable Chief Justice James Allsop AC as the Chief Justice of the Federal Court of Australia, at the Law Courts Building, Sydney.

In the evening, the Governor and Mr Wilson attended the Italian Opera Foundation Australia Gala Dinner, where Her Excellency delivered an address, at Doltone House, Pyrmont.
