Today, Her Excellency the Honourable Margaret Beazley AC QC, Governor of New South Wales, and Mr Dennis Wilson received the following guests, in the context of a virtual regional visit to Coffs Harbour, facilitated by Government House Sydney:
In the morning the Governor received Mr Reuben Robinson, Chief Executive Officer, and Mr Tyson Ferguson, Clinic Coordinator, Galambila Aboriginal Health Service.
Afterwards, Her Excellency received Mr Martin Wells, President, and Mr Garth Shipperlee, Executive Officer, Coffs Harbour Chamber of Commerce.
Later in the morning, the Governor and Mr Wilson received Professor Kirsten Benkendorff, Director, National Marine Science Centre at Southern Cross University, and Professor Nicolas Ashbolt, Dean and Head of the School of Environment, Science and Engineering, Southern Cross University.
In the afternoon, Her Excellency and Mr Wilson received Ms Yamamah Agha, General Manager of Service Delivery Settlement, and Ms Vigeeta Chauhan, Coffs Harbour Regional Coordinator, of Settlement Services International.
Later in the afternoon, the Governor and Mr Wilson received Ms Catherine Fogarty, Director, Coffs Harbour Regional Gallery, and undertook a guided virtual tour of the gallery’s current exhibitions accompanied by Uncle Richard Widders, Community Liaison Officer, Gumbaynggirr Elder, Ms Terri Butterworth, Artist, Mr Guy Gilmore, Artist, and Mr Dave Gilmore, Screenwave International Film Festival and Coffs Cultural Industries Advocate.
