During the day, Her Excellency the Honourable Margaret Beazley AC QC, Governor of New South Wales, received the following guests, in the context of a virtual regional visit to Junee and Wagga Wagga, facilitated by Government House Sydney:
In the morning, the Governor and Mr Dennis Wilson received Ms Danielle Wait, President, and Mr Rhyley Hunter, Director, of the Wagga Wagga Business Chamber.
Subsequently, Her Excellency and Mr Wilson received Mr Kevin Amery, Program Coordinator Manager, Kairos Prison Ministry Australia, ‘Kairos Inside’ program, Junee.
Later in the morning, the Governor and Mr Wilson received Ms Danielle Miinchow, Facility Manager, Junee Multipurpose Service.
In the afternoon, Her Excellency and Mr Wilson received Professor John Germov, Acting Vice-Chancellor Charles Sturt University, Professor Heather Cavanagh, Deputy Vice Chancellor, Research and Engagement, Professor Leigh Schmidtke, Director, National Wine and Grape Industry Centre and Mr Johnny Clark, Charles Sturt University Winemaker.
Later in the afternoon, the Governor and Mr Wilson received Mr Shaun Mortimer, Deputy Principal Solicitor at Aboriginal Legal Service NSW/ACT Limited (ALS), Ms Stephanie Howard, Field Officer, ALS Wagga Wagga and Ms Emily Bruton, Indigenous Paralegal, ALS Wagga Wagga.
Afterwards at Government House, Her Excellency conducted a Ministerial Swearing-in Ceremony for the Honourable Don Harwin MLC. Subsequently, the Governor presided at a meeting of the Executive Council.
