Throughout the day, Her Excellency the Honourable Margaret Beazley AC KC, Governor of New South Wales, continued her regional visit to the Riverina.

In the morning, the Governor had a breakfast meeting with Councillors and staff of the Edward River Council, at the Deniliquin Town Hall, before visiting the Yarkuwa Indigenous Knowledge Centre, in Deniliquin. Afterwards, Her Excellency met with students and staff at the Deniliquin High School followed by a tour of the Deniliquin High School Farm.

In the afternoon, the Governor visited Australian Food & Agriculture, at the Bonooke Homestead, in Deniliquin, before participating in a roundtable with members of the Deniliquin Mental Health Awareness Group and undertaking a tour of the Depot Museum. Afterwards, Her Excellency toured END FM and was interviewed by two podcasting students from Hay.

In the evening, as Patron of the Association of NSW Regional Conservatoriums, the Governor attended a Recital and the South West Regional Conservatorium 2024 Program Launch, at the Conservatorium in Deniliquin. For further information, visit: answrc.org
