In the morning, Her Excellency the Honourable Margaret Beazley AC KC, Governor of New South Wales, visited the Stars Foundation at Inverell High School. Afterwards, the Governor toured BEST Nursery and Food Garden, which works with people with disability, students, and long-term unemployed jobseekers.

In the afternoon, Her Excellency attended a Working Lunch with members of the Inverell Shire Council, at the Inverell Shire Council Administration Centre. Subsequently, the Governor visited the Bindaree Food Group.

Later in the afternoon, Her Excellency visited Inverell Hospital, and afterwards attended Pride in the Park, held in Curtis Park, Armidale.
