In the morning, Her Excellency the Honourable Margaret Beazley AC KC, Governor of New South Wales, as Reviewing Officer, attended the NSW Police Attestation Parade of Class 362, at the NSW Police Academy, Goulburn.

In the evening, the Governor delivered a keynote address at the Philip Neri Dinner Series, a celebration of fellowship and faith in the spirit of St Philip Neri, at the Australian Club.
