In the afternoon, Her Excellency the Honourable Margaret Beazley AO QC, Governor of New South Wales, and Mr Dennis Wilson attended the Chinese Consulate Open Day, welcoming young choristers from the Guangdong Experimental Middle School Choir and the Inner Mongolia Youth Choir, who performed alongside The Sydney Children’s Choir, at the Chinese Consulate, Sydney.

In the evening, the Governor, as Chief Scout of New South Wales, accompanied by Mr Wilson, attended the Cumberland Gang Show at the Riverside Theatre, Parramatta.
