In the morning, Her Excellency the Honourable Margaret Beazley AC KC, Governor of New South Wales, and Mr Dennis Wilson met with Regional Development Australia – Far West, and then with the University of Sydney’s Broken Hill Department of Rural Health, in Broken Hill.

In the afternoon, the Governor and Mr Wilson met with members of Staying Home Leaving Violence and visited the Albert Kersten Mining and Minerals Museum.
