In the morning and afternoon, Her Excellency the Honourable Margaret Beazley AO QC, Governor of New South Wales, accompanied by Mr Dennis Wilson, conducted investiture ceremonies at Government House for men and women of New South Wales whose awards were announced in the 2019 Australia Day Honours List.

In the evening, the Governor and Mr Wilson attended the New South Wales Bar Association Bench and Bar Dinner, at the Hyatt Regency, Sydney.

In the morning, representing Her Excellency the Governor, Mr Michael Miller RFD, Official Secretary to the Governor of New South Wales, attended a Public Memorial Service for Mrs Daphne Dunne, at St James Church, Sydney.
