In the morning, Her Excellency the Honourable Margaret Beazley AC KC, Governor of New South Wales, and Mr Dennis Wilson met representatives of the Nari Nari Tribal Council to learn about the Gayini (Nimmie-Caira) Project, in Maude.

In the afternoon, the Governor and Mr Wilson visited Hay Public School, including a tour of the School Kitchen Garden, and Hay War Memorial High School, including tours of the Hay War Memorial Museum and Agricultural Area and Dorper Program, in Hay.

Afterwards, Her Excellency and Mr Wilson met representatives of the Hay Shire Council, at the Hay Shire Council Chambers, Hay.

In the evening, the Vice Regal couple hosted a Community BBQ and Bowls Reception, at the Hay Bowling and Golf Club, Hay.
