In the morning, Her Excellency the Honourable Margaret Beazley AO QC, Governor of New South Wales, accompanied by Mr Dennis Wilson, gave the Occasional Address at a Graduation Ceremony at Southern Cross University, Lismore.

In the afternoon, the Governor and Mr Wilson visited the Lismore Tresillian Family Care Centre, and afterwards, Her Excellency, as Honorary Colonel, and Mr Wilson visited the Depot of the 41^st Battalion of The Royal New South Wales Regiment.

In the evening, the Governor and Mr Wilson hosted a Vice Regal Reception for representatives of local volunteer and community organisations, in Lismore.
