In the morning, Her Excellency the Honourable Margaret Beazley AC KC, Governor of New South Wales, and Mr Dennis Wilson, visited Barunguba-Montague Island Nature Reserve and Lighthouse with NSW National Parks and Wildlife Services staff and rangers.

Following this, the Governor and Mr Wilson met students and staff at Narooma High School, Narooma, before travelling to Moruya, where they heard from Eurobodalla Shire Council members about local aspirations, programs, and achievements.

Afterwards, Her Excellency and Mr Wilson engaged with Elders and members of the Mogo Local Aboriginal Land Council, where they learned about the Fire to Flourish and other programs, in Mogo.

In the evening, the Vice Regal Couple hosted a Community Reception to thank and celebrate local volunteer organisations, support agencies, and other community groups, at the Moruya Surf Life Saving Club, Moruya Heads.
